Today is the 216th anniversary of the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES.
On this day, 17 September 1787, we officially became a Republic (NOT a "democracy" - - - there's a really BIG difference!!!).
Until this moment, our nation was actually a Confederacy, governed by the Articles of Confederation.
Happy Birthday, you all!

Yes, Leam, Washington, D.C. ignores the Constitution.
They think we live in a democracy, not a republic, where the mob determines what is correct, not the law.
So, the mob, by majority rule, with no regard for the minority's opinion, has decreed that we shall all be unarmed helpless prey, with only criminals and corrupt police agencies being permitted firearms.
Also, a great BIG "Moran TAING!" to Elasaid (Did I spell that right?) for the Gaelic-English dictionary in my "snail" mail!
It's VERY helpful.
